CALL US: 0405-033-518

Port Stephens is a paddling paradise and we’re here to help you get out there and experience the wonder and wildlife for yourself!

We love this place and we want you to love it too. So if you’re up for an unforgettable holiday, looking for a slice of adventure, or simply want a piece of some good old healthy “sunny coast living”, then book yourself into one of our Paddling Eco Adventures! Alternatively, you can come see us and take advantage of our hire, group tours, or stand up paddle board sales available for those in Port Stephens, Newcastle, the Central Coast and beyond. We’re confident we’ll be able to find you something to paddle.

A little bit about us

Our paddle board and kayak hire business is locally owned, and operated by a small team of individuals who love paddling and love the area. Some of us grew up here, some of us landed here later in life, but all us know the spectacular harbour and the sights it offers like the back of our hands, and are qualified/skilled paddlers that frequent the local waterways as much as we can. If we’re not kayaking through the middle of the harbour, then we’re probably paddle boarding (SUPing) from one side to the other.

We like to keep things real, friendly and simple here. No finish lines or trophies, just a commitment to share an ecologically sound means of exploring the idyllic bays, beaches, coastlines and wildlife within Port Stephens and its Marine Park. We are all about providing outdoor activities that promote, health, exercise, and “good old fashioned fun”. Whether it be for stand up paddle board, or SUP hire, kayak tours or to simply take advantage of one our fantastic sales, our core focus for those in Port Stephens, Newcastle, Central Coast and beyond is to ensure they have the best possible experience.

  • Awesome! couldn't recommend it more strongly, the guide really knew his facts & we got to hang out with a pod of dolphins!

  • Your tour was so excellent, my kids keep asking when we can do it again, thanks so much for everything

  • Great way to see the Sunset, the chilled champagne topped off a fun afternoon.

  • Myself and the kids decided to try your stand up paddleboards and it was great! Now the kids are nagging us to buy one (not so great). Thanks for the fun guys! And for giving the kids a chance to try different boards.

  • With being a big guy, it's often difficult to for me to take part in some outdoor recreation, but you guys got me on the water and standing up! You had me at ease with the laid back and simplistic approach, and your knowledge of both technique and equipment was given out clearly and with no nonsense. Highly appreciated!

Once hired, you will first enter a training/probationary period where your rate of pay will be $18 per hr (over 18 yrs). Once we all feel that things fit, your pay will increase generously. This rate will be discussed at your interview.

This position requires mostly beach work, and sometimes shop and office work. Its a demanding job both physically and mentally, especially during high holiday season. Applicants must be able to lift heavy kayaks, SUP’s, etc. You must be able to walk/ run in barefoot/sand, swim, and handle the outdoors in very strong sun, hot and humid conditions, whilst doing so in a high pressure environment.
